ABOUT
Mattias Ivarsson is a Swedish audio engineer, music producer, songwriter and composer currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. After studying a Bachelor’s in Audio engineering at Luleå University of technology in Piteå, Mattias has had collaborations with Svenska Grammofonstudion and now Baggpipe Studios (former EMI/Abbey Road Stockholm). In a Short amount of time Mattias has worked with artists such as Galantis, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Shirley Clamp, Laleh and Jocke Berg to name a few. He has produced multiple singles for the artist Kemal, one of them being the song “BRAVE” which has, to this date, collected over 15 million streams on Spotify and has sold Gold in Sweden. Film scoring is also a passion. In the past Mattias has written the score for the short film “Hur känns det att leva” and assisted on the score of the crime series “West of Liberty”, with Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm and Ian Person of Soundtrack of Our Lives, which recently had its premiere on SVT. He also recently recorded the dialog, together with Willem Bleeker, for the upcoming movie Apstjärnan starring Stellan Skarsgård, Pernilla August and Melinda Kinnaman. Mattias has also worked with live radio, location sound for television and freelances as a live engineer during concerts.
